Wheelchair rugby, commonly known as "murder ball", is to feature at an event highlighting paralympic sports for young people in Edinburgh.

The Edinburgh Paralympic Experience will take place at Forrester/St Augustine's High School campus on Friday.

Young people with with a physical or sensory disability will travel to the city for a day of sport delivered by some of the best coaches and clubs in the country.

Swimming, badminton, judo, tennis and wheelchair basketball will also be available at the event.

Pupils from Edinburgh, the Lothians and the Scottish Borders have been invited to take part.
