About Rosepark Care Home

Rosepark Care Home in Uddingston, South Lanarkshire was the location of a devastating fire on January 31, 2004 which claimed the lives of 14 elderly residents. Care home owners Thomas, Anne and Alan Balmer have been the subject of two prosecutions since the tragedy but the charges were dropped on both occasions. In November 2009, a Fatal Accident Inquiry into Rosepark began in Motherwell.
