About MOBO awards

Launched in 1996, the MOBO Awards celebrates the best artists of any race or nationality performing music of black origin. In the past, top acts including Janet Jackson, Dionne Warwick, Justin Timberlake, Tina Turner, Jay- Z, Amy Winehouse, Usher and John Legend have appeared at the glitzy awards. This year’s awards show – the first which have been staged outside of London - are being held at Glasgow’s SECC on Wednesday, September 30, with stars including Keri Hilson, Chipmunk, JLS, Diversity, N-Dubz, Flawless, Tinchy Stryder and Jermaine Jackson on the line-up.
