Gordon David Strachan OBE (born February 9, 1957 in Edinburgh) is a retired Scottish international football player, and now a successful manager. As a player he starred for Dundee, Aberdeen, Manchester United and Leeds United - before becoming player-manager at Coventry City. He has since managed Southampton and most recently Celtic, where he won the Scottish Premier League three times in four attempts, with some noted successed in Europe including two spells in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
