Anthony Webster took this photo of a halo round the sun. A halo is created by the refraction of the suns light in a layer of cirrostratus cloud by it's ice crystals. Cirrostratus cloud is normally observed when a weather front is approaching and therefore a halo is usually a good indicator that rain is on the way.
