Paul Cooney, Chief Executive of the Royal Bank of Scotland Kiltwalk, said: “Former US President Barack Obama's first visit to Scotland was momentous, but who would have thought that £570,000 would be distributed through Kiltwalk to all the charities who take part this year.”
STV Appeal is delighted to be one of the 500 charitable organisations set to benefit this year. Anyone walking for Kiltwalk sees 140% of their fundraising going to the STV Children’s Appeal.
The STV Children’s Appeal makes a difference to the lives of children and young people living in poverty across Scotland. Since launching in 2011, the STV Children's Appeal has raised over £13.7 million, with 722 big and small grants distributed to projects across all 32 local authority areas in Scotland, providing much needed support to over 62,000 children.
